Taking the Risks Seriously

Any time a general anesthetic is administered either by injection or by inhalant (gas) there are risk of anesthetic complications. We take these risk very seriously. For this reason we require IV catheter and intraoperative IV fluid therapy for almost all surgical procedures. IV fluid therapy helps maintain blood perfusion of vital organs during anesthesia and also allows immediate access to your pets blood stream with life saving medications if required. In addition, pets having most surgical procedures are monitored with pulseoximetry, EKG and respiratory monitors while under anesthesia. We understand that we cannot control or prevent every possible complication that is possible with surgery but we are committed to having the proper knowledge and equipment necessary to provide your pet with the best care.

Laser Technology

In addition to conventional surgery we also offer many surgeries using cutting-edge laser technology. Laser surgery seals nerve endings and blood vessels thus reducing hemorrhage intraoperatively and pain and swelling post operatively.
